Tumeric Antioxidant Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 cup unsweetened hemp or coconut milk
• 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango chunks
• 1/2 fresh banana
• 1 tablespoon softened coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon turmeric with dash of cayenne pepper to enhance absorption
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1 teaspoon chia seeds or freshly ground flax
• 1 teaspoon maca (optional)

Directions:

Combine all of the ingredients in an electric blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth. If the shake is too thick, add more water until you reach a thick but drinkable consistency.
